Kilkerran 8y/o Sherry Cask Matured (2024) 57.4%ABV 30ml

Batch 10 of the Cask Strength Sherry cask 8y/o edition bottled in 2024. This batch is matured in Oloroso Sherry Casks. Great well balanced fruity sherried dram with lovely caramel mouthfeel and slight campbeltown funk. A drop of water and a bit of time and this is possibly the best made Kilkerran cask strength - tiny hint of sulphur but all the previous releases had something quirky on the nose or finish that people either loved or hated - this one is almost a bit boring as there are no big flaws from nose to finish. Only complaint is this sold out and I had to pay too much to secure a bottle.
