Oban is a great little Highland distillery with one of the smallest outputs so apart from the 14 year old core release it isn't easy to find bottles. There have been some great special releases in recent years which gives fans an opportunity to taste more at cask strength. This whisky was matured in ex-Sherry and Amontillado Seasoned Casks.

If you were on the fence it’s worth it

Reasonably high peat and smoke & finishes quite nicely. Pair with blue cheese & dried apricots & BBQ

Heard for a while how good Littlemill’s can be. This SMWS 30yo certainly did not disappoint, the nose on this dram was amazing.
It was a flavour packed palete, that certainly stood out as such a fine whisky.

Awesome dram with awesome service

An absolutely amazing whisky, this Imperial 24yo was flavour heaven. Could see from the second it was poured into the Glencairn that it was something special.

Also the service provided by Horny Pony was brilliant, well recommended for anyone looking for trying some special whiskies.
