LIMITED RELEASE: KELP REVIVAL 45.7%

Notes of deliciously sweet juicy fruits and rich chocolate coated sultana with a beautifully complex nutty overlay.

Matured in Apera Sherry casks, finished in a rare 70 year old Tawny Port cask and married with a smidge of coastal peated whisky (for a nutty, earthiness not smokiness) that’s balanced, with a unique complexity.

A truly Tassie maritime single malt whisky, in support of the ambitious endeavour to regenerate the nearly-extinct Giant Kelp forests throughout Tasmania, including an exciting trial site just a stone’s throw from our distillery.

Nose
Nectar honey, dried fruits like chocolate coated sultana, apricot and oak at the bottom of the glass.

Palate
The apera provides the platform of juicy canned fruit, the Tawny brings rich spices & thick sweetness, the smidge of coastal peat ties the two elegantly with an earthy, nutty overlay. A balance of bitter sweet.

Finish
Sultana and melted butter from the Tawny lingers on and the nuttiness from the smidge of peat creates a lovely, complex finish.
