Ballechin 19y/o Manzanilla Casks 55%abv 15ml / 30ml

Small batch vatting of three Mazanilla casks #269 & #274 & #275 with a minimum age of 19 years old. These were amongst the first Ballechin casks filled at Edradour distillery after they started creating the Ballechin peated distillate in 2004.

This spirit has been aged for 19 years in three Manzanilla casks. Manzanilla is a drier style of sherry, produced close to Spain’s coast – which gives it a distinctive saltiness. This character is the perfect complement for Ballechin’s smoky style of whisky. "Powerful peat smoke, liquorice, salted caramel, lemon, crunchy green apples, raisins, orange rind, dark chocolate, a little herbaceous, coffee and wood smoke."
