Clynelish 2011 11y/o The Whisky Show 2022 58.7%ABV 30ml

A 2011 Clynelish single malt from the Whisky Show 2022 bottlings that shows off the distillery's popular waxy texture. Matured in a single ex-bourbon barrel for 11 years, it offers aromas of pineapple, orange, grapefruit, lemon curd and vanilla that fill the nose. The palate brings tropical notes of passion fruit, banana, pineapple candies, toasted sesame seeds and beeswax that fade into sea salt and candle wax that linger in the finish. These annual show bottlings are so hard to get now as they sell out at the show.
