Adelphi Official Tasting Notes: GLEN GARIOCH 2011 9 Years Old Highland 58.5% Vol 1 of only 462 bottles from cask 2374 Fully matured in a refill sherry butt, Vin Jaune in colour and showing a medium bead. An inviting nose kicks off with coconut cream, bounty bar and stem ginger before opening into white pepper, nougat and tobacco tin. The palate is a cracking all-rounder with Irn-Bru bars, gorse flower, medicine cabinet, tangerine and pink peppercorns. A dry, spicy finish compliments this whisky perfectly.
