LMDW Tasting Notes:

Nose : Refined, concentrated. On the initial nose, citrus fruits (orange, mandarin), toffee, emery cloth, and lavender aromas testify to the complexity of the aromatic palette. Upon aeration, it takes on exotic (mango, persimmon) and heady (turpentine) tones of remarkable purity of expression.

Palate : Rich and powerful. The chocolatey attack is impressively present. Deliciously tannic, the mid-palate reveals numerous dried fruits (fig, date, chestnut). Flavors of candied fruit cake provide a delicious finish.

Finish : Long and full-bodied. With a very fine grain, the start of the finish reveals notes of plantain and botrytized grapes of rare eloquence. With great nobility of expression, the aftertaste evolves between pipe tobacco, gingerbread and linden honey.
