Winner of Worlds Best Independent Bottler 2024 at the World Whisky Awards - The Heart Cut is a husband and wife team of industry veterans Fabrizio and Georgie, shaking up the industry bottling fun and flavourful World whiskies and Ryes. 

St George led the first wave of craft distillers and brewing in the San Francisco Bay Area first firing up the stills in 1982. This whiskey was made from distilling Coffee Stout and maturing it for almost 8 years in American Oak. The coffee stout was made with malted barley and had some coffee added so this spirit cannot be called whisky in the EU.

"This whisky kicks off with a bright, peppery punch from green pepper and fresh jalapeño (no, we have no idea where this flavour comes from from a production standpoint, but we like it!) combined with the aroma you get when walking past your favourite coffee shop, balanced by the gentle sweetness of poached pears. It finishes smooth with creamy white chocolate matcha and the comforting crunch of Hob Nobs.".
