Strathenry 4y/o Inchdairnie Distillery The Whisky Barrel 60.5%ABV 30ml

The first single malt released distilled at Inchdairnie Distillery which was very pricey for a 4 year old as it is collectible. Really promising fruity malt which is already popular with blenders.

Strathenry 4 Year Old 2016 vintage Lowland single malt Scotch whisky distilled at Inchdairnie distillery. The second release of The Grant Tour series from the Whisky Barrel shop and independent bottler. Matured in a Bourbon Barrel bottled March 2021. 218 numbered bottles.

Inchdairnie Distillery is a new Lowland distillery who have stated they will release their first official single malt in 2029 as a core release 12 years old. Before then they are also releasing a few younger single malts called Strathenry (unpeated) and Kinglassie (peated)  through independent bottlers and their malt is already used in blends. They are also producing a Rye and Oat whisky.

Official Tasting Notes:

Cosmic fruit basket of baked apple asteroids, elderflower rays, hypernova watermelon, lunar banana skin, meteoric ripe pineapple and a mango cluster. Long dry finish of intergalactic vanilla, planetoid eucalyptus and a chilli spice pulsar.
