"The distillery releases small-batch whiskeys in the “24 Solar Term” inspired by the old Asian calendar. The lightly peated Akkeshi Seimei 2022 is the seventh release in the series. Seimei means “fresh, bright, alive” and represents the time of awakening after winter;. Swallows move across the dark green and bright blue packaging, which reflects this contrasting time. Matured in different cask types, the whiskey develops of caramel fudge and honey, lemon and soy sauce, among other things."
