Prospectors Drop Batch 1 is a unique Double Wood Cask Strength release with a difference. We identified some American Oak Ex-bourbon casks with no charring. This is extremely rare.

Charring provides a barrier between the spirit and wood, and effectively reduces the amount of wood contact impacting the flavour profile. Uncharred American Oak therefore has no such barrier, so you are getting oodles of that pure, sweet, vanilla and caramel notes from the oak.
