Benromach 10y/o 43%abv 30ml

The 10 year old from Gordon and MacPhail's Benromach distillery. Every batch maturation is 80% first fill Bourbon barrel and 20% first fill Sherry cask, married together for the final year in a first fill Oloroso Sherry cask. A rich sherry and fruit nose, find the hint of nutty chocolate. Taste it, roll it around your mouth. A bit of malt biscuit and very light smoke. A succulent mouth filling balance that lingers.

MATURATION: 80% ex-Bourbon, 20% ex-Sherry for 9 years—married back together in an Oloroso Sherry cask for the final, tenth year.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Delicious barley, big on malt and oak. Sweet spices after a time and a hint of puckering prune from the sherry cask and maple fudge.

Taste: Malt and barley are woven together with the perfect amount of sherry sweetness and the slightest whisp of smoke.
