Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition (2022) 43%ABV 30ml

The Distillers Editions take the 'Classic Malts' from Diageo and give them a 12 month finish in another cask type. In this case they take the malty, heather honey and vanilla Highland whisky from Dalwhinnie and finish it in Oloroso casks. Not massively sherried - if anything it highlights the distillery characteristics but with a touch more woody spiciness and some grape sweetness.
