English Whisky Co. 8y/o The Whisky Set English Single Malt Whisky 60.4%ABV 30ml

The English Whisky Company's distillery St George's Distillery is the oldest registered Whisky Distillery in England. The Scots made fun of this English Distillery in Norfolk saying it was 'Norfolking Good'...now they aren't laughing so much as there is a whole wave of award winning English Distilleries and a further 20 plus are now in production that have yet to release their first whiskies.

This is the fourth batch for The Whisky Set is a marriage of two casks of the English Whisky Co. that have been fully matured in PX barrels for 8 years, and bottled at natural cask strength of 60.4%ABV.

Tasting Notes

Jam donuts and cherry pie, Cola lollies and orange cake. Hazelnut cream, Sarsaparilla and buttery oak to finish.
