Description
When the opportunity to work with Samaroli for an ‘Australian Exclusive’ cask materialised, we took it with both hands and went to work sampling a bunch of their Scottish whiskies, deciding to go with Linkwood. We then narrowed it down to 2 Linkwood samples. The first sample was the safe bet, pure Linkwood, bright and floral with some underlying cigar notes, the second sample was a different animal all together……. of course, we settled on the second sample. A conversation whisky, not your quintessential Linkwood, but a spirit that rewards patience, taking its time to reveal the full sum of its parts.

Early feedback and reviews have been absolutely stellar – Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022, the single bourbon hogshead yielded 294 bottles at a cask strength of 56.2% ABV. We’re delighted with the final result and hope you enjoy the whisky as much as we do."
