Rhinns 11y/o (Bruichladdich) 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel #8 Svenska Eldvatten 59.3%ABV 30ml

This is a rare Rhinns release from Svenska Eldvatten under their cult 'cat label' releases (tip for whisky bottlers - just put a cat on the label and people go nuts). Svenska Eldvatten is the leading Swedish independent bottler based in Gothenburg.

Bruichladdich create 5 different whiskies - Octomore - super peated 80ppm+, Lochindaal - very heavy peated 50ppm+, Port Charlotte - heavy peated 40ppm, Rhinns peated  30ppm and Bruichladdich unpeated. Rhinns is the least commonly found of the 5. These whiskies are named after 3 former distilleries located around Port Charlotte that are now closed - Port Charlotte, Octomore and Lochindaal (which was also called Rhinns for a short time). Springbank started this trend by naming Hazelburn and Longrow after closed distilleries that once operated nearby.

Rhinns is sweeter, lighter, fruitier and smokier (as opposed to peaty) than other peated styles at Bruichladdich. A must try for Laddie fans.
