Tamdhu Batch Strength Batch 7 57.5%ABV 30ml

A true sherry monster - Fully matured in Oloroso Sherry casks - mostly first fill casks, making a huge, rich and sweet sherry bomb. Almost too much sherry - maybe they left a few litres of sweet sherry in the casks, so the balance is a bit off with too much cask influence overpowering the distillate. At cask strength, the alcohol is more integrated than other whiskies in this category like Aberlour A'bunadh or Glenfarclas 105 - super dangerous and approachable - you can drink this without realizing the strength. Add some water to get more spice and caramel and tone down the sweet sherry.
